...to the website of Drone Magazine the UKs only dedicated modelling magazine written and published by modellers for modellers.
Published bi-monthly by the Film Television and Model Club Drone is now in its fifteenth year, and boasts the most honest reviews to be found anywhere either in print or on the internet. When it first appeared in 1992 Drone was nothing more than a double sided A4 newsletter that contained only one kit review: Alien 3 from Halcyon. Now, 15 years down the road, it contains an average of fifty pages per issue, and covers all aspects of modelling and associated interests.
Reviews, tips, suggestions and advice on building and painting a wide variety of kits... including figures of all sizes and genres, vehicles, and hardware make it suitable for the beginner or the seasoned and experienced modeller regardless of their particular interests.
To augment Drone's dedication to modellers a range of kits are also produced under the Dr.One label, and details of these can be found in the store.
Drone also recognises that modelling can be a solitary activity, therefore to promote a sense of community regular events are organised that culminates in the bi-annual 'Dron-a-rama', a three day convention at which attendees can display their work, and meet with like minded peers.
