DRONE-A-RAMA

The Drone-A-Rama, or DAR, shows are held bi-annually offering members an opportunity to get together as a whole club, unlike the informal local meets, in a relaxed atmosphere that enourages the involvement of partners and younger family members.
DAR is however more than just a model show, although this is obviously the core of the event giving members the chance to display their latest work, with the emphasis beeing on fun. The weekends take in auctions, raffles, displays, dealer tables, quizes, workshops, challenges, visits to appropriate attractions, and social events.

DAR 2007

As some of you may be aware the past few months has been a time of uncertainty as far as DAR 2007 is concerned, and Club officials have been playing a waiting game before making any firm decision. However following certain necessary changes, namely the length of the show, due to circumstances beyond the Clubs control, it has been announced that DAR 2007 will definitely go ahead. To ensure the Show's survivial the difficult decision was taken to end the weekend on the Sunday night, and not the monday as had orignally been planned, but this does not mean that friends and fellow members will be departing immediately.
