..there are as many reasons for joining a club as there are members. But one benefit is the opportunity that membership offers to meet others with similar interests, and so forming a common bond and perhaps friendships. Because of the geographical spread of FTvMC members it is unrealistic to hold regular meetings, however members who live close to each other will often meet up informally, while the club itself orgnises a number of informal 'get togethers' throughout the year in different locations, which offers as many members as possible the opportunity to come along, hopefully at least once in the year. In addition there is the bi-annual Dron-a-rama weekends.

DAY TRIPS |

The good weather brought the usual, and some unusual, supects out in force.
From Victoria to Clapham the suspects made an untidy and often disorderly swoop on Comet Miniatures, with a comic stop on the way. Comet proved eventful, the kits attacked Eric and Eric attacked the kits, and the prices attacked eveyones sensibilities.
Fresh from our breach of the Comet bastion we turned our attention to the need for sustenance, a local hostelry proved hospitable enough to allow disruption to their floor plan and general chat, and festivities commenced. Drink was drunk, and money was won and lost as many a large plate of scran were address in a purposeful manner, or not as the case may be.
