DRONE-A-RAMA |

The Drone-A-Rama, or DAR, shows are held bi-annually offering members an opportunity to get together as a whole club, unlike the informal local meets, in a relaxed atmosphere that enourages the involvement of partners and younger family members.
DAR is however more than just a model show, although this is obviously the core of the event giving members the chance to display their latest work, with the emphasis beeing on fun. The weekends take in auctions, raffles, displays, dealer tables, quizes, workshops, challenges, visits to appropriate attractions, and social events.

MARTIN BOWER
Martin Bower the model making guru has worked in film and television for many years, and while his television work included such shows as Space 1999, Blakes 7 and Dr Who he is perhaps best know know for his role as Supervising modelmaker on the films Alien, Outland and Flash Gordon
During the weekend he treated members to displays of his model making skills, as well as being available to chat and answer questions Martin also joined in the weekends' activities
