DRONE-A-RAMA |

The Drone-A-Rama, or DAR, shows are held bi-annually offering members an opportunity to get together as a whole club, unlike the informal local meets, in a relaxed atmosphere that enourages the involvement of partners and younger family members.
DAR is however more than just a model show, although this is obviously the core of the event giving members the chance to display their latest work, with the emphasis beeing on fun. The weekends take in auctions, raffles, displays, dealer tables, quizes, workshops, challenges, visits to appropriate attractions, and social events.

Our bi-annual DAR shows are the UK's biggest, and only, show devoted entirely to Sci-Fi,
Horror and Fantasy figure and hardware modelling, regularly attracting over 230 enteries for the modelling display and competion.
But it is more than just a model show, it is an opportunity to swap
tips, meet and get to know fellow modellers, watch demonstrations, pick up some
bargains, and generally have a good time. It is also a time for families to get involved, as we encourge and cater for wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends and kids of all ages.
For anyone bitten by the modelling bug it was the ideal weekend.
2009 is going to be a Halloween Special over the weekend of October 31st and November 1st at the Gateway Hotel Nottingham.
